Some thoughts on why we are who we are or at least think we are.

Every day is different between my ears. Often I wake at 3AM with something that I need to say – about news, politics and life. More often than that, it is to advocate for a voice not heard, or not heard enough. Never sure where it is going. So much to say, so much more comes out. So many subjects. So much beauty. So much pain. So much success and so much injustice. It’s all about the things that we saw, heard and came to know on the way here.

• This blog is an experiment. An experiment to teach me the technology and test different methods – it may always be under construction. An experiment to get me to write. To find self-discipline. A place where I can develop my voice. Learn to blog. Learn to spell check. Get some things out of my system. I may someday share it. Invite others to opine. But until then, you must have just stumbled on it and you are welcome.
• About my nom de plume – martyrdog. While “dog” is a palindrome, it is not intended as such. It simply refers to a dog I once had who late in his life, seemed to attempt to attract attention by acting like he was carrying a heavy cross from room to room. It seemed appropriate to what I’m doing here.
